It's A Good Thing

Hey Y'all - I was really having a bad day already this morning, and I received this in my e-mail.  I just wanted to share it, because it was good timing for me.  This is a picture of Nan, she crossed 2 years ago and that is when the family troubles really started.  She was my inspiration, she taught me everything I know about flowers & gardening, sewing, and  being humble (and she continues to teach me).  She, in my eyes, was a Saint.  I Love You Nan.

Fran - Give us closure.  You only make your own path more troubled.

Hope all is well with everyone..... I was asked by a very special friend as

part of her religion class to send this to twelve people who I

thought would DO this. I hope I chose the right twelve. Please send

this back to me. (You'll see why.)

In case anyone is interested, Saint Theresa is

known as the Saint of the Little Ways. Meaning she believed in

doing the little things in life well and with great love. She is also

the patron Saint of flower growers and florists. She is represented by

roses. May everyone who receives this message be blessed. Theresa's Prayer

cannot be deleted.

REMEMBER to make a wish before you read the poem.

That's all you have to do.

There is nothing attached. Just send this to eleven

people and let me know what happens on the fourth day. Try not to break

this, please. Prayer is one of the best free gifts we receive. There is no cost

but a lot of reward. (Did you! make a wish?) If you don't make a wish, it

won't come true.

This is your last chance to make a wish.

St. Theresa's Prayer:

May today there be peace within.

May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.

May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.

May you use those gifts that you have received,

and pass on the love that has been given to you....

May you be content knowing you are a child of God...

Let this presence settle into your bones,

and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love.

It is there for each and every one of us.

Now, send this to 11 people within the next 5 minutes. And remember to Send this back...I count as 1...you'll see why.

Suggestion: Please copy and paste rather than forward

and use the Bcc: option to send to multiple addresses

~Firefighters~ September 11, 2006

As we all remember the tradgedy 5 years ago, I want to specifically

mention the Firefighters. My husband and I were firefighters for 8 years

and it was THE most fulfillng thing we ever did in our lives. We were

responsible for protecting the community we lived in and we did it

extremely well. So well, in fact, that they made is both Captains.

When we went to our first pow wow here, they had us come into grand

entry behind the veterans (Police, and EMT also). We were welcomed and

thanked along with them.  We were very honored and then realized that we

were considered warriors too, although the general public had only come

to accept this after September 11, 2001.

I want you to remember all those firemen who risked and gave their

lives before 9~11 also. I don't mean to take away from the meaning of the

veterans from battles  over seas, I just need people to realize that

there are warriors here...

                                    ...at home...

...fighting the everyday battles to protect the people

This is a picture of the engine we mostly responded on, when we were a part of the company.  The Oceanville Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 was established in 1924.  It is one of five companies that comprise the Galloway Township Fire Department.

The company is 100% volunteer, non-profit, and is on call 24/7/365.  Our members are ALL UNPAID PROFESSIONALS and certified by the State of New Jersey. We do not receive any money for the many hours of serving you.

The next Ham & Oyster Dinner fund Raiser is Saturday November 4, 2006 from 4:00pm ~ 8:00pm

If you are in the area, I can testify theses will be the Best Oysters you will ever taste!

God Bless You ~ All My Firefighter Brothers and Sisters

Business picking up... Preparing for Pow wows

Well, we survived the big bad storm. This is the last weekend we have before mom returns from visiting with brother. We got a LOT done remodelling, and are putting finishing touches this holiday weekend. I know I have been MIA online, but I think I needed a break. Thank you everyone who keeps in touch and all new ppls contacting me. I will try to be more available on Yahoo Instant Messenger, now that I have the mobile source for it.
Spydre! I hope you don't mind, but I would like to use your trademark siggy for my IM online status Image on the mobile.
Now I can work in the craft room and still have chatting capabilities. We have a pow wow coming up towards the end of the month that I will be readying for. This will be 2nd in Odessa, more infor to follow. I will be taking October off for Halloween, birthdays, and mental health days. Then there is the AIA pow wow the first weekend in November, again more info to follow *or join my Yahoo Groups for Calendar access, the message board is not very active but I like to keep the calendar up to date.
Also, I had made a new friend yesterday, anyone into fishing he has tackle supplies take a look ---> http://chuckanddeb.com/
I received a nice shipment of Unique Sterling Silver Charms and pendants, many are listed in the shop but some will be held for the Pow Wows. So come check us out -->> http://stores.ebay.com/Six-Directions-Traders
