One of these days

One of These Days

The worst fault in a hound is to run counter - to follow the trail backward, not forward. Is the fault less when men are guilty of it? Behind us is much that we have found to be faithless, cruel, or unpleasant. Why go back to that? Why not go forward to the things we really desire?

Say! Let's forget it! Let's put it aside!
Life is so large and the world is so wide.
Days are so short and there's so much to do,
What if it was false--there's plenty that's true.
Say! Let's forget it! Let's brush it away
Now and forever, so what do you say?
All of the bitter words said may be praise
One of these days.

Say! Let's forget it! Let's wipe off the slate,
Find something better to cherish than hate.
There's so much good in the world that we've had,
Let's strike a balance and cross off the bad.
Say! Let's forgive it, whatever it be,
Let's not be slaves when we ought to be free.
We shall be walking in sunshiny ways
One of these days.

Say! Let's not mind it! Let's smile it away,
Bring not a withered rose from yesterday;
Flowers are so fresh from the wayside and wood,
Sorrows are blessings but half understood.
Say! Let's not mind it, however it seems,
Hope is so sweet and holds so many dreams;
All of the sere fields with blossoms shall blaze
One of these days.

Say! Let's not take it so sorely to heart!
Hates may be friendships just drifted apart,
Failure be genius not quite understood,
Say! Let's get closer to somebody's side,
See what his dreams are and learn how he tried,
See if our scoldings won't give way to praise
One of these days.

Say! Let's not wither! Let's branch out and rise
Out of the byways and nearer the skies.
Let's spread some shade that's refreshing and deep
Where some tired traveler may lie down and sleep.
Say! Let's not tarry! Let's do it right now;
So much to do if we just find out how!
We may not be here to help folks or praise
One of these days.

James W. Foley, from “The Voices of Song”, E.P. Dutton & Co.

This was something I read in an OLD book I have.  I wrote it down on paper with intentions to send to my Estranged older sister.  I just came across it today, needless to say, I never mailed it.  It was because I had tried and tried to reach out to her, to apologize for Anything I may have done, the last attempt was when I called her to send my condolences for the passing of her husband.  Each time I was just ‘blown off’ or told to Never contact her again.  So in this case, What is a person to do?

I am posting this not only for Frances Little & her daughter Heather Cunningham, but this is also for Chip & Michelle Perling, Ann M. Lavalle-Sawdo, and anyone else whom I have ever Hurt or Wronged in any way.  I am NOT the type of person to purposely wrong other people.  If I do not know what I did wrong, How can I be sure Not to do it again?

My husband continues to tell me to LET THIS GO – and hopefully I can.  I am just not very good at knowing there are people out there that think I have purposely hurt them.

I Deeply APOLOGIZE ~ I FORGIVE YOU ~ I will Never FORGET ~ GOD Forgives Me and tells me It’s OK

Ever wonder about the abbreviation A.S.A.P.? Generally we think of it in terms of even more hurry and stress in our lives. Maybe if we think of this abbreviation in a different manner, we will begin to find a new way to deal with those rough days along the way.
*************
There's work to do, deadlines to meet;
You've got no time to spare,
But as you hurry and scurry-
A.S.A.P. - ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER

In the midst of family chaos,
'Quality time' is rare.
Do your best; let God do the rest-
A.S.A.P. - ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER.

It may seem like your worries
Are more than you can bear.
Slow down and take a breather-
A.S.A.P. - ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER

God knows how stressful life is;
He wants to ease our cares,
And He'll respond to all your needs
A.S.A.P. - ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER.

Boogey Creek NDN Festival

What an Awesome Park/Campground!!! In Lovely DelBocaVista, Floriduh ~ Tons of wildlife as y'all have seen from everyones pictures.  We actually had a Bobcat run across the road in front of us  while we were coming home from the store one night.  This was just a Trial thing, which is why it was a Festival and Not a Pow wow.  Lots of Informal Dancing, Fun, Friends, Family and Foreigners LOL!!

Hopefully if the people at Boggy Creek liked what we did, we will be back to do a full fledged Pow wow, and possible during Cooler weather   If anyone was there and enjoyed themselves, Please let the Boggy Creek Airboat people know by calling 407-344-9550 or email them at info@bcairboats.com   Positive Feedback will have us back

Several of our Favorite Dancers came and supported this and we had a nice Shortlist of selected vendors for the tourists to sample.  We had 3 Drums show up, Spirit Warriors was Head Drum and the guest drums were Family Drum and Red Bird Jr.  It really was a Great Last Blast before the Summer Break and it was only 9am-5pm on Saturday and Sunday, so the Vendors were able to relax and socialize a bit after the festival each day.

Special Shout out to: White Feather ~ It was Really Great to see you and your family and reconnect!!  Also Silent Wolf & Leah ~ we finally had an event if your Neighborhood!!!

Here he sits between Grace & Mercy

The campground has full hook-ups for a Very reasonable $21 per night and there is a boat ramp and slips available for campers at no extra charge.  Now the Airboat ride is $25 for a 30 minute ride, which is a bit steep for me.  I prefer canoes anyways.

Is that the sweetest face you ever seen?

Well, we are getting ready to head North, as the Heat, Hurricanes and Oil spill all near the Sunshine State.  Good Luck and Safe Travels to all our Pow wow peeps that will be staying behind AND those that will travel North with us as well.  Praise and Thanks to Creator for everything he provides to ALL the people.

Much Love and many prayers from Spiderwrulf & Cloudwalker
