$20.00

Sometimes we just need to be
reminded!

A well-known speaker
started off his seminar by:

holding up a $20.00 bill.
In the room of 200, he asked:
"Who would like this
$20 bill?"

Hands started going up.

He said: "I am going to give this
$20 to one of you
but first, let me
do this.

He
proceeded to crumple up the $20 dollar bill.

He then asked: "Who
still wants it?"

Still the hands
were up in the air.

Well, he
replied: "What if I do this?"

And he
dropped it on the ground
and started
to grind it into the floor with his shoe.

He picked it up, now crumpled and dirty.

"Now, who still wants it?"

Still the hands went into the air.

My friends, we have all learned a
very valuable lesson.

No matter what
I did to the money, you still wanted it
because it did not decrease in value.

It was still worth $20.

Many times in our lives,
we are dropped, crumpled, and
ground into the dirt by the decisions
we make and the circumstances
that come our way.

We feel as though we are
worthless.

But no matter what
has happened or what
will happen, you will
never lose your value.

Dirty or clean,
crumpled or finely creased,

you are still
priceless to those who DO LOVE you.

The worth of our lives comes
not in what we do or who we know,

but by WHO WE ARE and
WHOSE WE ARE.

You are
special  -
Don't EVER forget it."

If you do not pass
this on, you may never know the

lives it touches, the hurting
hearts it speaks to, or the
hope that it can bring.

Count your blessings,
not your problems.

"And remember:
amateurs built the ark...

professionals
built the Titanic.

Coffee Please......

Greetings,

Need a Tanker Truck of Coffee this morn, rainy bleahhh and gonna be getting cold,  But its OK we are in the woods with the animals and birds.  We are in Clermont for the Holiday and hunkered down to get inspired and craft and MOSTLY to stay out of the Holiday FRENZY that people get into this time of year.  Which is the main reason, I keep asking, Is it January Yet?!?

Anyways, taking a much needed rest, so I haven't blogged in a while.  There is not much going on, juss trying to survive.  Restocking the shop and gathering materials for more creative goodness.

The Pow wow page on the dot com has been updated with the 2010 pow wows through Mothers Day.  And the printable list is up, so mark your calendars for the Spring pow wow season.

Miss O's Gainesville Pow wow

MissO0102

We usually do Chambers Farm pow wow on Thanksgiving weekend, but this year Miss Ozetta organized a pow wow in Gainesville, Florida and invited Ken to be Arena Director.  Very Nice set-up, good facilities and hook-ups for the camper.  As with every first time pow wow, it was a little slow and might have done with a little more advertising.  We had a Great time in Fellowship with all our extended Family and Friends.  They did and honor dance for Miss O and her Grandson in which she wore her mothers Regalia, unfortunately due to my fractured foot i could not Dance with her.

Here is an interesting picture I caught, I love this fancy dancer's regalia, it is made of Macaw Feathers.

It was really Great to hear Sarah tell stories and to sit with Joe and get to better know him.  Please visit my you tube, I will be uploading some videos soon of her stories.
