Greetings everyone,
Following is a series of forwarded e-mails describing a gathering of the Native American Community this coming Sunday November 19th at the Barnett Park next to the Central Florida Fairgrounds in Orlando. We were going to have our family gathering this Saturday the 18th, so we need to decide to have our gathering at this ' Picnic in the Park'. Please read the entire event information at the bottom of this e-mail.

Hi All,

I'm forwarding this information to everyone that we think might be interested in putting aside our differences as groups and joining together as the Native American community in Central Florida to support this effort. As many of you know, Native Americans don't get the recognition that we deserve in our community. Showing that we can band together to support a common cause will only help our standing as a contributing presence in Central Florida.

The picnic next Sunday will offer us a chance to relax and enjoy an afternoon of fellowship with Native American music, dance and storytelling. Barnett Park is located next to the Fairgrounds.

Hope to see you there!

Greetings!

We have some exciting things to share and would like you to do the
same. Our November meeting will be at Barnett Park in back of the
Central Florida Fairgrounds where we are having a free "Picnic in
the Park" with music, storytelling and games. It will be on the
3rd Sunday of this month, November 19th, from 12 throughout the
afternoon. Just bring a picnic and a plant for the plant walk. We
have reserved Pavilion 3 where there are tables and 2 grills under
cover, a volleyball court, and a playground for children. Would
love to see there! We have contacted the Orlando Sentinel, several
neighborhood papers, and TV stations, as well as Valencia and UCF
to advertise our event as a public service.

In January, our meetings will resume at the Downtown Orlando Public
Library on the 3rd Sunday of every month from 1-3 pm. We have
chosen that time and day to be convenient esp. for those who
travel.

We look forward to hearing from you and thank you for your
invaluable support! Please feel free to contact Betty Hinds at
407-298-1434 or me at 321-274-7255.
