Ralph (Mingo) Tyrone Lee Williams, 59, of Merritt Island, FL died on Monday, April 13, 2009. Born in Decatur, IL, he moved to Merritt Island in 1977 from Manatee County, FL. He was a School Custodian and was a member of The Lord's Church at Wachula, FL. He was a former member of the American Indian Association, very active with the Vietnam & All Veterans of Brevard, and was active in Public Schools, teaching students about their Native American Heritage. He is survived by his wife, Barbara A. Williams of Merritt Island, FL; 2 brothers, Donald Lee Williams of Kahokia, IL, John Williams of Bradenton, FL. A memorial service will be held at the D.C. Room @ Kiwanis Island Park in Merritt Island on Saturday, May 2, 2009 from 1-4 PM. The family will receive friends at the Harden-Pauli Funeral Home, Eustis on Saturday, April 18, 2009, from 2-5 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Brevard Hospice, 8060 Spyglass Hill Road. Viera, FL 32940.
