Wrede's Wildlife Rehab

This weekend we went, with about a dozen other people from the surrounding communities, to Sebring Florida for a work detail at Wrede's Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, Inc. This is the home of 'Thunder' the American Bald Eagle. They rehabilitate many wild animals and birds. There are Bobcats, Cougars, Peacocks, Eagles, Osprey, Caracara, Deer, and many more wonderful animals there. We tore down the old wire fence and installed a new wood fence, build new cage/pens for some of the animals and tore down old pens. It was a lot of hard work we did as volunteers, but it was an honor to help these people who have taken on such a responsibility as this. They will be at the Tundering Spirit Pow Wow in March, so if you would like to see these wonderful animals, or possibly donate to a good cause, Come check it out :)
